Your session fee compensates the photographer for her time and talent during your session and for the post-session work. Unlike other department store or chain studios where your session takes 20 minutes or less, your session is providing you with a photographer willing to invest her time to capture wonderful images for you.
Included in your fee is:
-An initial consultation and planning for your session
-The photographer's time and talent
-Unlimited image captures during the session
-Archival creation and storage of your ordered images
-Online gallery for friends and family
Please remember that a $50 retainer is required upon booking a session date, in order to secure your preferred date and time. THIS DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. While a potential date may be discussed during our initial conversation, it is not held for you without payment. Please ensure that your deposit is received within 7 days of booking your selected date. If not received, Aubree Harris Photography reserves the right to offer this session time and date to other clients.
I am completely digital and capture all of my images using professional photography equipment and photofinishing services. I never limit the amount of images I capture during a session. It can take some time for everyone to "warm up" and, therefore, I like to shoot as many frames as needed to present you with a nice variety of images from which to select.
Your images will be available for viewing 1.5 to 3 weeks after your session date, depending on which session type you have selected. Basic Session participants can expect to view their images in 1.5 weeks. Deluxe and Premium Session participants can expect to view their images in 3 weeks due to the time needed to print the images and mount them in the album.
Your ordered images will remain on file for the period of ONE YEAR from the date of your session should you desire additional reprints at a later date.
I provide digital retouching services for any image you request; however there is a retouching fee for this service. Please talk to me for details.
I believe in capturing the true nature of children, and reserve the right to refuse to perform intensive retouching to "correct" any features of a child deemed to be less than ideal by parents or others (i.e. physical deformities, slimming techniques on children, etc.).

I understand that events in our lives can sometimes interfere with an appointment, I can reschedule if the need arises. Please provide me with 7 days notice so that I can make that time slot available to other clients. I also realize that emergencies happen that make giving me 7 days notice impossible, but I kindly ask you to adhere to this time guideline whenever possible.
Many clients have a pre-determined plan for their session. If you do not have such a plan, that's ok too, we can work together to determine the best place to photograph you and your family. Often, you do not need to go any further than your own home.
I do not work out of a traditional portrait studio, which means all of my sessions are on location (i.e. parks, private home, beach, mountains, etc.). I am located in Rancho Cucamonga, and will be happy to travel throughout most of Southern California. Travel fees will apply if the location is more than 30 miles from Rancho Cucamonga. If you would like your portraits shot in a studio like setting, I can set up a "mini-studio" in your home - please talk to me for more details.
There are no definitive rules, but here are some guidelines:
-It is not necessary to be identical, complimentary colors work well too. Earth tones and black are a good choice for an elegant or classic look.
-Bright colors look good on children in outdoor settings.
-Babies should wear something they will be comfortable in.
-Avoid clothing with logos and distracting patterns.
